Changemakers

CEA’s “Changemakers Dialogues” are a series of online meetings to discuss the experiences of implementation and change within communities and local governments.  The goal of the year-long series is to “Collaboratively explore, share, and make visible our collective experience creating change so that we can individually all be even better at skillful interventions

This series was initiated by CEA because communities have moved through the awareness-raising and planning phases and are now focused on implementation as is CEA. The live meetings are open to all CEA staff and members.

On April 20, 2016, Pat Bell shared her experiences with a focus on understanding yourself and your workplace culture. On May 24, 2016, David Dubois discussed his personal and professional experiences with change including some challenges as an elected official. Both presentations are available below. Following a summer hiatus, Peter Robinson continued our Change Makers Dialogues on October 25, 2016. He discussed his professional experience with community energy planning and introduced the new Community Energy Implementation Framework just released by CEA, QUEST, and Sustainable Prosperity, which is intended to help communities move CEEPs from a vision to implementation.
